Our house most likely is fabricated in a Southeast German factory. We like to go to that region because of it. But also the surrounding countries are in favour too. We see always a lot of houses looking like ours. We often find authentic parts that are very useful to us. In The Czech Republic we did find locks and hinges at a rubble yard, especially nice was that they where made with the same casting mould as ours.
Even at Sardinia we did find something and at a market place in Turkey we did find hinges we seldom see in The Netherlands, new and in big boxes. The hinges are used to let the window frames turn towards the inside of the house.
We often did try to find a similar house as ours. Still without any success.

Per quello noi andiamo volentieri a quella zona, ma anche nei paesi vicini. La si vedono case che assomigliano alla nostra. E li si trova ancora deglie attrezzi che possiamo adoperare, come per esempio cerniere et maniglie.
Anche in Sardegna e Turchia abbiamo trovato cose utili.
Noi cerchiamo regolarmente anche negli archive case che rassomigliano, ma fino al momento non siamo riusciti a trovarle.

Maar ook in de omliggende landen komen we graag. We zien er veel woningen die op de onze lijken. Daar vinden we ook authentieke zaken die we kunnen gebruiken. In Tsjechië hebben we enkele raamklinkjes gevonden op een vuilnisbelt, van exact dezelfde gietmal als onze klinkjes.
Zelfs op Sardinië vonden we iets en op een markt in Turkije hebben we fitsen gevonden, die zijn hier niet makkelijk te vinden. Een fits is een soort inslagscharnier die in ons huis de opdek-ramen naar binnen laten draaien.
We speuren regelmatig op het net en in archieven om een soortgelijk huis te vinden. Tot op heden is het niet gelukt.
